Maryland HQL, Optional Utah CCW

This 5 hour course combines the requirements of the Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) with that of the Utah Concealed Weapon Permit (CFP).  4 hours in the classroom and an hour on the range will enhance your knowledge of how a handgun functions and how to use it safely.  In this course we will review:

• Maryland, Utah and Federal gun laws
• Basic Safety Rules
• Firearm Types and Actions
• Ammunition Function and Selection
• Malfunctions and Stoppage Drills
• Use of Deadly Force
• Interaction with Law Enforcement
• Interstate Travel with Firearms

The course will be 10am-3pm for HQL only students. 9am – 3pm for HQL/Utah CCW Combo students.

Tuition: $100 HQL only, $125 HQL/Utah Combo

$50 deposit required at time of registration.  Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future class.
